Hi, I'm Ava — the founder, the buyer, and (most days) the one tucking your order into tissue before it leaves us.

Ava Sterling began with a simple frustration. I wanted jewelry that looked like the pieces in glossy editorials, but I didn't want to choose between a beautiful ring and a month's rent. So I started sourcing demi-fine jewelry — finished to a standard I'd be proud to wear every single day — and pricing it for real life.

Every piece in this shop is chosen by hand. If it isn't something I'd wear myself or give to my closest friend, it doesn't make the cut.

What “demi-fine” means

Demi-fine sits between costume and fine jewelry. Our pieces are crafted from materials chosen to last — 14K and 18K gold plating over brass and copper, sterling silver, luminous freshwater pearls, and hand-set cubic zirconia and crystals. You get the look and feel of fine jewelry, with a price that lets you actually enjoy wearing it.
